About the photographer & Guide:
As a youth I spent much of my time hiking in the woods, fishing and hunting with my Grandfather and Uncle who instilled in me the need to respect all living things, while understanding the world around me will always be changing. This background has led me to a life long appreciation of nature, scenery, architecture and people, which in the late 60’s I started photographing. Over the years I started with film cameras and dark rooms moving to digital cameras and computerized post processing. I retired after a 45year career in technology and senior management, allowing me to focus on photography and other areas of enjoyment. Traveling the world in the Army, then for business and pleasure has given this Midwesterner (Kansas City, Missouri) an appreciation of all nature, along with the many cultures, history and architecture that exist. My current life style allows me to pursue a passion for wildlife photography and sharing weekly excursion experiences with others.
